Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, welcomed a son on Friday.

Memphis Aldean Williams was born in Nashville and weighed in at 9 lbs., 5 oz.

In an Instagram post celebrating the arrival of his “little man,” Athens native Aldean noted the “roller coaster ride” of the past year, a reference, no doubt, to the mass killing in Las Vegas in October.

Taylor Swift adds second show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

The unstoppable Taylor Swift has added a second stadium date to her Atlanta appearance.

Ms. “Reputation” will now play Mercedes-Benz Stadium Aug. 10 as well as the previously announced Aug. 11.

Swift is playing double dates in a handful of other cities, including Chicago, Pasadena, Calif., Toronto and East Rutherford, N.J.

Tickets for both Atlanta concerts will go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 13. The

Bruce Springsteen’s Broadway run extended through summer 2018

Bruce Springsteen is getting comfortable on Broadway.

 The musician’s staggeringly popular, critically lauded “Springsteen on Broadway” has been extended again, with a new crop of shows announced from Feb. 28 through June 30.

 Springsteen has already sold out 16 weeks of performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre, and by the end of his previously announced dates on Feb. 3, will have performed 80 shows.
