Watch Jennifer Nettles sing part of her commencement address to Agnes Scott College students

Jennifer Nettles returned to her alma mater on Saturday to give the commencement address – with her own musical twist.

Nettles, who vaulted to fame as half of Sugarland, is a 1997 graduate of the Decatur-based women’s college. In her address, she spoke of the importance of chasing your dreams and choosing love over fear.

Then she reached into her wheelhouse and gave a musical salute by singing

Childish Gambino a.k.a award-winning, multi-hyphenate artist Donald Glover has announced dates for his upcoming North American tour.

On Sept. 6, the month-long tour kicks off in Atlanta before heading to 13 cities across the continent ending Sept. 30 in Vancouver. Gambino, of Stone Mountain, appears in Atlanta with special guest Rae Sremmurd at Infinite Energy Arena. Tickets for the general public go on sale at 12 p.m. this Friday, March 9
