It’s already poised to be an ambitious 2018 for Justin Timberlake.
The multi-hyphenate announced on Tuesday the release of his fourth studio album, “Man of the Woods,” on Feb. 2, to coincide with his Feb. 4 Super Bowl Halftime Show (and it’s reasonable to expect a tour announcement the second he steps off stage).
An exclusive version of the album – including unique cover art, a poster and download code – will be available at Target, as will a vinyl edition of “Man of the Woods.” Pre-sales begin Friday.
Also Friday, Timberlake will drop “Filthy,” the first single from the album, which is described as combining traditional American rock with the influences of collaborators including The Neptunes, Timbaland, Alicia Keys and Timberlake’s CMA Awards duets partner, Chris Stapleton.
The video for “Filthy” will arrive Friday as well. It will launch a weekly release of new videos from the album, starting on Jan. 18 and leading to the release of the full album.
