Although Aaron Carter spent much of Monday busy on Twitter, he made it to Birmingham, Ala., for a scheduled date of his “Just Show Up Show.”
Radio station 107.3 The Q posted photos on Twitter of the singer on stage, a day after he was released on bail from Habersham County jail. The pop singer, 29, was arrested Saturday night about 90 miles north of Atlanta for allegedly refusing to take a breathalyzer test. Carter was also charged with possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.
He contends that he was never behind the wheel of the white Chevy Suburban when Habersham County deputies searched through his and girlfriend Madison Parker’s belongings in an AutoZone parking lot. TMZ obtained a copy of the police report that contradicts Carter’s version and states that an alert was sent for someone “driving all over the road and running into the median.” Carter maintains he was targeted due to his “celebrity.”
On Twitter, Carter alternately called out his big brother Nick, of Backstreet Boys fame, after the elder performer posted a tweet expressing support for his younger sibling.
He also admonished Sharon Osbourne and Aisha Tyler after the pair discussed his arrest on the Monday episode of ‘The Talk” and referred to him as looking “cracked out” and “like a typical addict.”
And later Monday, Carter turned his attention to those who have condemned his gaunt appearance in his mug shot.
