Ariana Grande has postponed her tour until June 7 following the tragic explosion outside Manchester Arena Monday night at the close of her performance.

Grande, whose “Dangerous Woman” tour played Atlanta in April, was scheduled to perform at London’s O2 Arena on Thursday and Friday. Those shows, along with dates in Belgium, Poland and Germany, have been canceled, according to a statement from Grande’s camp. The tour is slated to resume in Paris.

Grande, 23, wanted to pay “proper respects to those lost,” according to the statement; the singer returned to her hometown of Boca Raton, Fla., on Tuesday.

Hours after the 10:33 p.m. attack on May 22, which authorities are treating as a terrorist act, Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Ian Hopkins confirmed that children were among the 22 who died; at least 59 others were wounded.

Early Tuesday morning, Hopkins also confirmed reports that a male suicide bomber was responsible for the attack, which occurred outside the arena in a public space.

Shortly after the incident, Grande tweeted to fans:

Her manager, former Atlantan Scooter Braun, also took to Twitter to express his sorrow.

“We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester’s first responders who rushed towards danger to help save lives. We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”

Throughout the evening, other musicians posted sympathetic messages online as well:
