The Zac Brown Band is literally coming home to commemorate the release of their new album, “Welcome Home,” out today.
The Atlanta band plays the first of two sold-out shows tonight at Verizon Amphitheatre in Alpharetta (the second is Saturday).
If you weren’t able to nab a ticket and you’re a SiriusXM subscriber, good news – the band has taken over the Y2Kountry (Channel 61) through May 21 and as part of the special programming, both Atlanta concerts will air live at 8 p.m.
Other specials expected during the week include nightly broadcasts of full ZBB live shows from the past five years, unreleased live material, tracks from the new album and songs from the artists that inspired them, including James Taylor, the Eagles and Jimmy Buffett.
Check The Music Scene blog later tonight for a review and photos from the Verizon Amphitheatre concert.
