The summer concert series at Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater (aka The Fred) will provide plenty of throwbacks and singalong opportunities.

The 2017 Butler Lexus and Audi of South Atlanta Summer Concert Series at the Peachtree City venue kicks off May 13 with ‘90s radio “All Star” Smash Mouth and wraps Sept. 10 with a double bill of ‘70s and ‘80s rock anthems courtesy of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo and Toto.

Richard Marx will perform with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra.

Series tickets will go on sale March 17 for $247.50; individual show tickets will become available at 9 a.m. March 21. All tickets can be purchased at the venue box office or via www.ticketalternative.com.

A non-series show – Lisa Kelly’s Celtic Concert featuring The Lisa Kelly Voice Academy and The Kelly Porter Dance Academy – will take place at 8 p.m. April 22. Tickets are $35-$65.

These are the six series shows (all begin at 8 p.m.):

May 13 – Smash Mouth

June 24 – Paul Anka

July 15 – Brian McKnight

July 31 – Melissa Etheridge

Aug. 5 – Richard Marx with the Atlanta Pops Orchestra

Sept. 10 – Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo and Toto

In addition to the series concerts, The Fred will present four spotlight shows:

May 27 – Yacht Rock Revue

June 2 – Rebel Rebel – David Bowie Tribute

July 28 – Shining Star – Earth, Wind & Fire Tribute

Aug. 18 – Petty vs. Clapton  featuring The PettyBreakers and Journeyman
