Shawty Lo remembered by Atlanta rap community

Many in the Atlanta rap community took to social media to express condolences over the death of  Shawty Lo, who was killed overnight in a car crash.

The rapper, known for his hit “Dey Know” and the 2006 charttopper “Laffy Taffy” with his Atlanta group D4L, was known as the “King of Bankhead.” He was 40.
