On Friday, the internationally renowned “Let it Be: A Celebration of the Music of The Beatles” heads to the Fox Theatre.
This tribute to the Fab Four debuted in London’s West End in 2012, then moved to Broadway for a few months the following year. The show — with four musicians dressed like the guys — traces the Beatles’ rise from Liverpool’s Cavern Club through the height of Beatlemania and their studio creations. More than 40 Beatles song are packed into the production, including “She Loves You,” “Yesterday,” “Hey Jude” and, well, yes, “Let it Be.”
And if you want to see it for free, I have a pair of tickets to give away.
To enter, zip me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org by 10 a.m. Thursday, April 21 and tell me why you love The Beatles. I will randomly select and contact a winner by Thursday afternoon, so be sure to keep an eye on your email since this is a quick turnaround.
Please only enter if you can attend the concert and please, only one submission per email address. Make sure to put “Let it Be” in the subject line or I won’t see your entry and you will have zero chance of winning.
If you would like to buy tickets to the show – which starts at 8 p.m. – they are $32-$80 and can be purchased at the venue box office, by calling 1-855-285-8499 or at foxtheatre.org.
