Dolly Parton is set to embark on her first major tour in more than 25 years.

According to a post on her website, Parton will hit more than 60 cities; dates will be announced soon.

Parton plans to provide fans with plenty of hits, as well as some new songs from her upcoming 2-CD set, “Pure & Simple with Dolly’s Biggest Hits” (the album will include one disc of new material and one of hits).

The country superstar’s TV movie, “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors,” which co-starred Jennifer Nettles, drew an audience of 15 million-plus when it aired on NBC in December. The movie will be released on DVD May 3.
