AC/DC is known for having one of the loudest rock shows in existence, and apparently that volume is taking its toll.

The band is postponing its 10 upcoming tour dates – starting with the sold-out Atlanta performance at Philips Arena Tuesday night – because AC/DC singer Brian Johnson has been ordered by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.

The shows are expected to be rescheduled for later this year, likely with a guest vocalist.

Attendees can hold onto their tickets for the rescheduled date or receive a refund at point of purchase.
