In typical Grammy fashion, a slew of collaborations will take place during the Feb. 15 show.
Justin Bieber will join Diplo and Skrillex to perform their Grammy-nominated, “Where Are U Now,” while the wicked hot Chris Stapleton – a nominee for Album of the Year and three others – will pay tribute to B.B. King with Gary Clark Jr. and Bonnie Raitt giving an assist.
One of the more curious combinations is Mr. Worldwide Pitbull collaborating with Travis Barker, Robin Thicke and “surprise special guests.”
Meanwhile, the rock supergroup known as The Hollywood Vampires – Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry – will make their TV debut during the CBS telecast, which begins at 8 p.m., live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
On Wednesday, the Grammys announced that the cast of “Hamilton” will provide a performance beamed-in live from New York. Other previously announced performers include Adele, Lady Gaga (with a tribute to David Bowie), Kendrick Lamar (the leading nominee with 11), Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town and The Weeknd.
