If you’re wondering what all the fuss is about “Hamilton,” you’ll get a glance at the show when the cast performs during the Grammy Awards.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of the Broadway smash, and his cast will perform a number from the musical directly from the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York – one of only four times the Grammys has featured a live performance via satellite.

This is the eighth time in Grammy history that a musical theater performance has been featured on the show (the most recent was “American Idiot” in 2010).

The “Hamilton” team will join previously announced performers Adele, James Bay, Ellie Goulding, Sam Hunt, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood, The Weeknd and Andra Day.

The Grammys, hosted again by LL Cool J, will air live from Los Angeles at 8 p.m. Feb. 15 on CBS.

“Hamilton,” meanwhile, is preparing a road version to feed the extraordinary demand for tickets.

We announced earlier this week that the musical will visit Atlanta during the 2017-2018 Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta season. More details here.
