The Wild Boys are back and hitting the road for an extensive North American tour.

Duran Duran will launch their “Paper Gods” tour, named after their solid new album of the same name, on March 28 in Durham, N.C.

The guys – Simon LeBon, John Taylor, Roger Taylor and Nick Rhodes – will perform at Philips Arena at 7 p.m. April 15 with special guest, Chic guitarist Nile Rodgers, who produced the band’s latest album.

Tickets for the general public will go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 12 through Ticketmaster outlets, the venue box office, www.ticketmaster.com, www.livenation.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. Ticket prices are TBA.

Members of the Duran Duran Fan Community can purchase pre-sale tickets and VIP packages beginning 10 a.m. Dec. 9 through www.duranduranmusic.com. Citi cardmembers will have access to a pre-sale beginning 10 a.m. Dec. 10 at www.citiprivatepass.com. Fans with the Live Nation mobile app can access a password-free pre-sale beginning 10 a.m. Dec. 11 at Ticketmaster-ticketed venues.

Ticket buyers will receive a physical copy of “Paper Gods” with every ticket purchased online (details about redemption will arrive 10-14 days after purchase).

Duran Duran returned in September with “Paper Gods,” their first new studio album in five years. The first single, the sinewy “Pressure Off,” features Atlanta’s Janelle Monae (perhaps she’s available April 15 and will make a guest appearance at Philips).

Earlier this month, the British pop-funk veterans announced they were donating proceeds from their “Save a Prayer” duet with Eagles of Death Metal, the band that was performing during the Paris terrorist attacks last month, to “a number of causes…which are peaceful, effective and unifying.”
